Campground Guidelines for Transient Campers

We hope these Guidelines will make it more pleasant for everyone.

  • Full payment of rent is due upon arrival. We only take cash, etransfer or personal cheque (sorry for any inconvenience).
  • One family per campsite is 2 adults and their dependent children. If there are any extra adult camping overnight with you, an extra charge of $10/person/night will be added to your bill.
  • CHECK OUT TIME is 12 Noon. CHECK IN TIME is set at 2 pm. Exceptions to this rule will be allowed where the site has been vacated early.
  • Quiet time is 11 pm to 9 am (radios and music off) * Exception Midnight on long weekends.
  • SPEED LIMIT is 10 kms. Please drive slowly.
  • Only registered guests are permitted on the grounds of the campground after 10 pm. Only registered vehicles are permitted in the campground. Guests are to park in the designated areas.
  • Only one vehicle per site, free extra parking at the entrance
  • Bagged garbage is to be deposited in the dumpster. Please use the recycle bins for pop/beer bottles and cans and sort them accordingly.
  • All sites must meet campground standards for appearance and are to be kept clean and tidy at all times. Fees will be charged if site maintenance is required
  • Fires are not be left unattended and should be doused with water before retiring for the night.
  • Fires should be in the fire pits only and should not be moved.
  • There is ice and wood available at the store. Please put the money in the container if store is not open. Ice is $3.50  a bag or 3 for $10,  Wood is $10 for amount.  Please use the wheel barrow to transport to your site and return after use. Wood should not be brought into the camp due to ash borer.
  • It is the responsibility of the campers to clean up garbage and cigarette butts on their site or they will be charged a clean-up fees
  • Any damage to campground property will be charged accordingly.
  • Pets ARE permitted but certain conditions apply. Owners are required to clean up promptly behind their pet.
  • alcohol should be consumed on their site, if around the camp, must be discreet, no glass
  • recycling should be sorted see Town of South Bruce Peninsula website for more info. No plastic bags, cardboard, droning boxes etc
  • garbage is for household garbage only. The municipal garbage dump is a short distance away to dispose of your larger items
  • no trespassing on other sites, respect cottage rentals and do not walk through their sites
